iPhone and iPod White screen of Death fix

Usually people get the WSoD after they've replaced the screen on their iPhone or iPod (most often the iPod or 3GS), this is frequently because it was done without powering down the device fully.

To fix it, just press the Home + Power buttons all at once for about 10~15 seconds or until the Apple logo reappears.

If this doesn't fix it, then there's a couple of possible causes;

• One of the buttons are faulty ( covers about 95% of the situations I've encountered )
• The display is legitimately damaged ( rare )
• The electronics on the mainboard are damaged, or there's a firmware glitch ( rarer still! )
